The World’s Best VBAC Education Happens Here

We provide evidence-based education, support, and have a community of like-minded people to help you on your jour

Hi! My name is Meagan Heaton. I am a VBA2C mom, birth doula, and educator. My goal is to help educate parents interested in VBAC deliveries learn more about how to achieve their goals for their child’s birth.

At the VBAC Link, we provide evidence-based education, support, and a community of like-minded people to help you on your journey through your VBAC pregnancy.

Are you feeling lost or confused about all the conflicting VBAC information you get from doctors and online? Stick with us. All our VBAC pregnancy information is up-to-date, credible, and evidence-based. We break down the medical talk and present it to you in a simple way so you can feel confident and prepared. You deserve to have the best information in order to make your choice about a VBAC delivery, and we are here to give it to you.

It is no secret that a large part of the medical community does not support VBAC births. While it may be easier for doctors to do repeat C-sections, it may not be the best choice for the family. Low-risk C-sections open the door to trauma, infection, and long recovery times. VBAC births are successful up to 80% of the time they are attempted. Hospital stays are shorter, recovery is quicker and risks are lowered.

For this reason, My team and I have dedicated ourselves to advocating for VBAC births by offering parent and VBAC doula training online. These classes prepare both parents and doulas for any extenuating circumstances related to VBAC births, thereby lowering risks and making it easier to achieve a VBAC delivery.

I teamed up with the amazing Julie Francom and we created an amazing self-paced VBAC prep course online. So whether you’re a parent looking for a fully comprehensive VBAC prep course, or a professional doula looking to expand your VBAC knowledge, you can find everything you need to know in our online classes.

I had a c-section with my first in 2021, and randomly found your podcast after. I started to listen religiously on our daily walks over the next 2 years. I can’t tell you how much I learned through listening to the stories of all the other brave mamas out there who chose to VBAC. We just welcomed our second baby into the world yesterday (2/1/2024) morning!! When I got into bed, my doula said “don’t you just want to shout it from the mountain tops that you had a VBAC?!” And, yes, I do! So this is me shouting from the rooftops that VBAC is not only possible, but redemptive and healing. I won't lie, it was HARD, but so so worth it. I am so grateful for your platform, dedication, knowledge, and your love for this community. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My husband and I are really enjoying it. He has been 100% VBAC supportive from the beginning, but I know that going through it together is setting us up to be even more on the same page for our second daughter’s birth in a few weeks.

I would highly recommend this to any birthing parent preparing to VBAC no matter if they are 6 weeks along or (like me) almost 36 weeks along!!

If I could give The VBAC Link 5 million stars, I would. It’s just that good!

I have been a doula for 3.5 years now and have supported multiple VBAC mamas. The doula course has changed everything about how I will support, educate, and love VBAC mamas from now on. The evidence-based information, positive attitude, professionalism, education, encouragement, and JOY I have received from Julie and Meagan leave me at a loss for words.
