What is The VBAC Link Podcast and Who Can it Help?
This podcast is for anyone seeking real-life experiences paired with the facts. We hope you'll feel informed, prepared, and empowered every step of the way.
If you've been listening through our archives, you may notice different hosts throughout the years. That's because The VBAC Link Podcast has evolved alongside the incredible people who have helped shape it. Each host has brought their own unique perspective, experience, and passion while staying true to our mission.
Founded in 2018 by Julie Francom and Meagan Heaton, The VBAC Link Podcast was created to provide a space where families could find evidence-based education, hear real birth stories, and feel supported. What began as conversations between two passionate advocates has grown into the leading VBAC podcast in the world, with hundreds of episodes and listeners across the globe.
After co-hosting together for several years, Julie stepped away from the podcast in order to meet the growing needs of her family, and Meagan continued hosting and growing the show. She often had co-hosts from our trained and certified doulas, who brought their expert tips to the show.
In January 2026, Meagan made the heartfelt decision to step back from hosting. While she absolutely loved leading The VBAC Link Podcast, she missed the collaborative energy and connection that comes from having a co-host. Believing the podcast would thrive with a dynamic hosting team, she felt there was no better fit than Lily and Paige to carry the mission forward.
Today, Lily and Paige bring fresh energy, thoughtful conversations, and powerful interviews to the podcast. They have welcomed respected guests including Jen Hamilton, Dr. Koen Dureloo, Hazel Keedle, and many other experts and birth professionals, while continuing to share inspiring stories from families all over the world.
Preparing for a VBAC can lead to a variety of outcomes, and our goal is never to promote one specific path. Instead, we strive to educate and inform you about all possibilities so you can combine evidence, intuition, and your own circumstances to make the best decisions for your family.
