Hi! Nice to meet you, I am so happy you are here with us. I am Julie, a small-town Utah girl turned soldier, computer geek, doula and now, podcaster and business owner. I drink Pepsi like it’s water and you can pretty much get me to do anything by offering chocolate cake as incentive. I had four kids in five years so yeah, I can do hard things!

VBAC Journey
I currently have four kids under 6 years of age (wowza! It sounds so crazy when I say it like that). I live with my husband and our kiddos in Lehi, Utah. I had complications at the end of my first pregnancy resulting in an emergency c-section four weeks before my due date. My second baby was a VBAC at home with an amazing birth team, it was very primal and instinctual and changed how I view birth, my babies, and myself. It was after this experience that I realized that birth work was my calling. I wanted to help as many women as I could feel in control of their birth story, no matter how it unfolds. I have had two more VBACs since and I am so glad to be able to work to increase education on VBAC and cesarean prevention.
